Crumb Scene Investigates: Mr. Macho Burger

(Last Updated On: May 28, 2016)

Let us introduce you to someone we hold very dear to our hearts. He’s thick, he’s bold, he’s spicy, he’s macho; we respectfully call him Mr. Macho Burger. And when we are feeling like a feisty fiesta we call him Mr. Macho Nacho.  He’s our favorite burger right now – it is a thick juicy burger with extra spicy guacamole, fiery Pico de Gallo, pickled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and tortilla chips if you’re feeling a little feisty. Let’s investigate!

4 servings

4 thick burgers (homemade or store bought)

4 hamburger buns

4 slices of pepper jack cheese or more to taste

¼ cup pickled jalapenos

Tortilla chips (optional)

2 medium Hass Avocado’s flesh diced

¼ cup red onion chopped fine

1 serrano pepper chopped fine

1-2 garlic clove minced fine

1 tbsp. fresh cilantro chopped fine

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix and smash avocados until creamy with some small chunks remaining, then stir in all of the remaining ingredients. Season to taste. Additional serrano pepper can be added to taste as well.

¼ cup red onion chopped

1 serrano pepper chopped fine

1 jalapeno chopped fine

1-2 garlic cloves minced fine

1 tbsp. fresh cilantro chopped fine
